The cooperation between the WBSC and new Associate Member Italian Association Baseball for the Blind has already paid dividends with an introductory course on the discipline.

Representatives selected by the National Federations of Turkey and Tanzania participated in the course, which finished with a question-and-answer session.

Baseball for the Blind in Italy was launched in the 1990s. The next edition of the main international event in the discipline, the 10th Mole's Cup, is scheduled for 2021 in Freising, Germany. The list of participants will include teams from Italy, France, Germany, Cuba, Great Britain and USA.
